In homage to the jasmine in the original miss dior perfume from 1947, francis kurkdjian has selected for dior a jasmine with extraordinary facets, obtained through a particular extraction process. This jasmine reveals a surprising fruity and pink note, which contrasts with the woody notes and is illuminated by flashes of mandarin. The couturier's miss dior parfum fragrance is adorned with a "poignard" bow woven from lurex threads, in a silvery colour reminiscent of the colour of its new label. The bottle, with its iridescent pink tones, is wrapped in a houndstooth motif, emblematic of miss dior.
